Four ways in, depending on what you want. Pick the one that fits and you will reach the right desk first time.
We read everything. Replies to pitches take up to ten working days; partnership enquiries are usually answered within two.
Where to write
- Pitch a story — freelance and first-time contributors welcome. See what to include below. pitches@culturedjourney.com
- Partnerships and advertising — sponsorship, brand partnerships and rate card requests. partners@culturedjourney.com
- Press and permissions — syndication, republishing, and requests to quote at length. press@culturedjourney.com
- Corrections — something wrong in a piece? Tell us and we will fix it and say so. corrections@culturedjourney.com
How to pitch
A good pitch is three paragraphs. What happened, who it happened to, and why it is worth a reader’s twenty minutes. If you can name the person at the centre of it, name them in the first line.
Include:
- Which desk it belongs to: Technology, Business, Culture or Travel
- Roughly how long you think the piece runs
- Whether you have access, and to whom
- Two links to previous work, if you have them
We pay on publication. Rates depend on length and reporting effort, and we will tell you the number before you start writing, not after.
